The first visit to the Clinic will be the orthodontic consultation. This appointment typically lasts 45-60 minutes. You will be greeted and given a medical questionnaire to fill out. Also, a panoramic radiograph and some diagnostic measurements will be taken. Dr. Carbone will discuss your expectations and motivations for an orthodontic treatment, and will also explain her diagnosis and treatment options with you.
There are so many factors to consider when creating a custom orthodontic treatment plan for each patient. An orthodontic consultation and a complete exam are necessary to determine whether a simple tooth alignment, dental extractions, maxillofacial surgery or just some growth guidance is necessary to give you what you desire: A beautiful smile!
